# Oscars ceremony experience

I've teamed up with ABC, an American commercial broadcast television to create a second screen experience. Thanks to watermarking technology, the second screen (a tablet) displayed synced content with the main screen (a TV).

## Approach

This second experience consisted in displaying information flash cards nominated movie synopsis and actors bios or advertisements. Users were encouraged to watch an ad to accumulate points. These points were redeemable to get rewards.
The main challenge was to define the two navigation levels. The first one was the timeline where flashcards appear one after another. Located at the bottom of the screen, the timeline looked like a stripe where each flashcard was represented by a thumbnail and a title. The currently displayed flashcard is highlighted with a distinctive border. Flashcards appear automatically in the timeline, pushing older ones towards the right as they do so.
